With high hopes and a quick reshuffle of a couple of rinks Orwell took on our near neighbours in our annual match with 6 rinks skipped by W Paterson, G Skea, I Robertson, J Brownlie, S Hay & D Cottingham playing over 2 sessions. Unfortunately a couple of big scores against us in the first session were too big to overcome in the second session although we did get 2 wins to regain an element of respectability. In the end Kinross won by 49-33 and the games were divided 3 apiece.
