Our Seniors were at it again..!!

Club Curlers were competing at the above event in Forfar over the weekend 15th/16th-18th December 2022, Willie Paterson skipped his rink with Sandy Nelson (Kinross) at third, our President Iain Robertson at second & Calum Forshaw at lead

A fiercely competitive event with a strong social element for curlers over 50. The Scottish Curling Senior Men & Women’s Championship is the pinnacle Seniors event in Scotland with teams competing for the title & right to represent Scotland in the World Senior Championship in April 2023, location TBC

The Men’s Championship is in two stages with the qualifiers this weekend at Forfar & Ayr moving on to the Championship Finals at Lanarkshire Ice Rink (Hamilton) on 15th-19th February 2023
The Women’s Championship is in one stage being competed at the same venue on the same weekend

Other local curlers competing in various rinks are, Steve Wilcox, Ian Cormack, Bruce Robbie, Scott Gormley, Allie Simms, Calum Macnee & Robbie Stevenson

But it wasn’t their weekend!
Doing their very best, Willie & his rink were unable to qualify this weekend but I’m sure they made up for it off the ice with great comraderey & socializing.
