Monday the 27th saw the Golland decided by the game between John Curran and Johnny Nelson with John getting an 8-5 win. He was ably supported by Peter Wyatt, Michael Longstaffe and Willie Robertson in a tight game over 7 ends. Johnny had a good start but John came back with 3 ends in a row to give a 4 stone lead into the last end which Johnny was unable to match. John will now go on to be a skip in the Holton next season.
