The Kenya Trophy for the Pairs
In 1971 H. Stewart Smith, The Mount, Gallowhill Road, Kinross intimated that he wished to present a tangible token for annual competition in the form of a Pairs knockout & that this was to be called ‘The Kenya Trophy’ in connection to his working career abroad on Tea Plantations.
Each game to consist of 5 ends and 2 games to be played in the course of one normal ice session.
He joined the club in 1965 & was a Past President in Season 1970 - 71
